Amazon Pay helps to verify a shopper’s Prime status, and offers shoppers a fast, familiar way to checkout using shipping and payment information from their Amazon account. Adding Amazon Pay as a Wallet is a part of setting up Buy with Prime when you onboard using the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify. Amazon Pay doesn’t process payments for Buy with Prime orders for merchants using the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, and Amazon Pay payment processing fees don’t apply. Yes, MCF is a stand-alone fulfillment service that empowers ecommerce merchants to use Amazon fulfillment services for multiple channels, such as brand websites, ecommerce marketplaces, and social media stores. MCF also offers different delivery speeds, allowing merchants to choose the one that’s right for their business. Buy with Prime empowers merchants to grow their ecommerce businesses by offering Prime shopping benefits on their online stores, including fast, free delivery, a seamless checkout, and easy returns. You can add Buy with Prime to eligible products on your Shopify store using the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify. You can use MCF to fulfill all other orders on your Shopify store, as well as orders from other ecommerce channels.

The Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify allows you to activate cart building to help boost sales. The integrated cart lets shoppers add Prime eligible products to your Shopify site’s existing cart and check out in one transaction.

The Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify doesn’t support Subscribe & Save. The Buy with Prime button should only appear on One-Time-Purchase options on your product details page. However, if the Buy with Prime button mistakenly appears on a Subscribe and Save option, go to Troubleshoot Subscribe and Save to fix it.

In the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, go to either the Managing Buy with Prime or Managing Multichannel Fulfillment home page. Below the menu page, click Disconnect to unlink your Amazon account. You’re then redirected to the Grow your site with services from Amazon page. If you need to re-link your Amazon account, click Connect account, and then sign in with your Amazon account credentials.

Prime with Shop Pay allows Prime members to use Buy with Prime directly on participating merchant sites while checking out with Shop Pay. To obtain Prime shipping benefits with Shop Pay, customers complete a one-time setup to link their Amazon and Shop accounts, either through the Shop App or on Amazon.com. After this step is complete, shoppers with an active Prime membership receive Prime shipping benefits when they use Shop Pay to checkout from participating Buy with Prime merchant sites.

Prime with Shop Pay is available to merchants who use the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, offer Shop Pay as an accelerated checkout option, and have split shipping activated in their Shopify Settings.

No further action is required if you already use the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, offer Shop Pay as an accelerated checkout option, and have split shipping activated on Shopify. When a Prime member with linked Amazon and Shop accounts checks out using Shop Pay from your website, Prime automatically appears as a shipping method on eligible products.

No. You can’t opt out of Prime with Shop Pay if you use the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, offer Shop Pay as an accelerated checkout option, and have split shipping activated in your Shopify admin. Please contact Merchant Support if you have additional questions.

Yes, shoppers can purchase both Prime and other products in a single transaction using Shop Pay.

1. Sign into your Seller Central account.
2. On the side menu, choose Orders , Order Report, and then All Orders.
3. For the Type of report, choose Order Date.
4. Select the Event Date range.
5. Click Request to generate the report, and then open the CSV.
6. To locate your MCF orders, search for the Shopify Order #<order number> in the merchant-order-id column.

Yes. You can use features like Reviews from Amazon for Shopify and various third-party apps that the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify supports. Note: Some third-party apps require configuration changes to work with the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify and there are others that offer limited functionality. A “no listing” error means that your listing cannot be viewed on Amazon. The listing must be fixed to make your product available for purchase. For more information, go to Fix a “no listing” error.

You can send your inventory to Amazon by creating a shipping plan, packing your products, and sending them to the fulfillment centers that Amazon designates, using the carrier of your choice. Inventory that is sent to a fulfillment center is usually scanned and made available for sale within three business days of delivery. For more information, see Ship products to Amazon.

Depending on the reporting date range, the charts show historical hourly, daily, or monthly values of your metrics. No. Buy with Prime gives you the freedom to choose how and where to sell your products. You don’t need to sell your products on Amazon.com to offer Buy with Prime. To prevent your products from being displayed on Amazon.com, you can set the start selling date far into the future when you create the product listing in Seller Central. This avoids showing the product for sale on Amazon.com, but allows you to set up the product with Amazon’s fulfillment services for Buy with Prime orders. The Acceptable Use Policy lists items and activities that might be prohibited when you offer Buy with Prime. You can offer Buy with Prime for selected products by selecting each individually.

Buy with Prime is currently only available to merchants with a United States-based entity and for orders with shipping addresses in the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Wallets such as Amazon Pay, store a shopper’s shipping address, credit or debit card credentials, and securely passes this information to the payment processor when shoppers check out. This can speed the checkout process because it pre-fills shoppers’ information when checking out so that the shopper doesn’t need to enter the information manually.
To accept payments you need to activate Amazon Pay, and add Amazon Pay as a wallet in Shopify Payments in the Shopify admin.

The Prime membership prompt allows shoppers to sign up for or resume their Prime membership directly on your site so that they can use Buy with Prime to check out. The prompt displays when a shopper without an active Prime membership chooses Buy with Prime checkout on your site.

Only shoppers who choose to check out with Buy with Prime and don’t have an active Amazon Prime membership see the Prime membership prompt.

After a shopper is signed in to their Amazon account during checkout, they’re offered the option to sign up for Prime or resume a paused Prime membership. After selecting a membership option and entering the required information, the shopper’s Prime membership is instantly activated, and they’re redirected to their Buy with Prime checkout.

If a shopper’s Prime membership was put on hold due to billing issues, they must update their payment method to resume their Prime membership benefits and check out using Buy with Prime. They’re prompted to update their payment method to resume a Prime membership after signing in to their Amazon account during Buy with Prime checkout. If a shopper doesn’t want to update their payment method, they can choose No thanks and are directed back to the product detail page. They can purchase the product through your site’s checkout instead.

If a shopper chooses not to sign up for or resume a Prime membership, they’re directed back to the product detail page and can choose to purchase the product through your site’s checkout.

You can deactivate the feature with the following steps:
1. Sign in to the merchant console, and then go to the Amazon services tab.
2. Locate the Prime membership prompt.
3. Choose Actions, and then choose the Deactivate Prime membership. Its status changes to Inactive.

The Prime membership prompt status appears in the merchant console. If the status shows as Inactive, you can reactivate it by choosing Actions, and then Activate Prime membership. The status changes to Active. If the status shows as Unavailable, you can’t activate the Prime membership prompt.

If the status of the Prime membership prompt is Unavailable, contact merchant support.

If your shoppers contact you with questions about Prime membership plans and benefits, or if they have trouble signing up for a Prime membership during checkout using Buy with Prime, have them contact Amazon customer service.

Yes, on the new Buy with Prime dashboard in Seller Central, you’ll have the option to link to the merchant console to access the same functions without requiring a separate user ID.

Yes, any changes to your Amazon credentials including name, email, and password automatically update your Buy with Prime credentials.

We don’t recommend you to sign up for Buy with Prime with a non-US Seller Central account. Buy with Prime is currently only available to merchants with a US-based entity and for orders with shipping addresses in the US. You cannot link Buy with Prime with your US-based inventory from a non-US Seller Central account.

After signing up with your Seller Central account and linking it to Buy with Prime, your existing business information is copied to your Buy with Prime account. This includes legal business name, registered business address, business type, and business phone number. You can manually edit this information, but any changes you make need to be made in both your Seller Central and Buy with Prime accounts.

If you are the Buy with Prime account owner, we recommend updating to the Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment credentials that you use to access your inventory. If you do not have Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account, but have an existing Amazon customer account for work, use that. Yes, MCF has added the option to block US orders from being shipped by Amazon Logistics, for a 5% fee surcharge. You can block Amazon Logistics for all MCF orders from your Amazon Seller account by going to your FBA settings, then scrolling down to Multichannel Fulfillment settings. Blocking Amazon Logistics increases the risk of your orders being unfulfilled or delivered late if there are no alternative carriers available.

The fulfillment fees report is only available in Seller Central for all MCF orders. A report can be extracted by signing in to Seller Central. Click Reports, then select Payments, and then select All statements. Enter a date range for your report and download the file. Next, open the file by using Excel. Column O shows the FBA/MCF fees charged for the order.

Yes, the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify can support partial fulfillment of orders based on the product’s assigned inventory location. MCF can ship any products that are assigned to the Amazon Fulfillment location within the order.
