Buy with Prime promotions - Shopify

An automatic discount applies at checkout when a shopper’s order meets the eligibility criteria. No coupon code is required. You can choose the discount type (dollar or percentage), the amount (for example, $10 or 5% off), and the promotion duration. You can also set purchase requirements, such as a minimum total dollar amount or product quantity

With coupon code discounts, you can create custom codes for Prime members to enter at Buy with Prime checkout. You can share the codes with affiliate and influencer networks. Coupon codes are available only for Buy with Prime orders, not MCF-only or MCF with Prime orders.

The app adds the “Buy with Prime” prefix to coupon codes and automatic promotions. This prefix helps you identify them on the Discounts page. The limit of 25 active or paused promotions applies only to automatic promotions. You can set an optional usage limit for each coupon code. For unlimited uses, leave the Enter usage limit field empty.

As a prerequisite, you must have already onboarded to Buy with Prime. You can create up to 25 active or paused automatic promotions.

To open the promotion form

1. Open your Shopify admin.
2. On the Discounts tab, choose Create discount, and then choose Amount off Buy with Prime products or Amount off Buy with Prime order. To create a coupon code discount, choose Amount off Buy with Prime order.
3. (One-time step) When prompted, give the app permission to access your Shopify promotions data by choosing update. The form to create a new discount appears.

To configure and create the promotion

1. Select the start date and, optionally, the end date.
2. Under Method, choose one of the following options:
   
   1. Automatic discount: Enter a discount title.
   2. Coupon code: Enter a custom coupon code. Prime members enter the code on the Buy with Prime checkout page. (Optional) Enter a usage limit. Leave the field empty for unlimited uses.
3. Set the percentage or amount of the discount.
4. For an automatic discount on products, choose the products to which you want to apply the discount. You can select a maximum of 50 products per discount.
5. If your discount includes a minimum purchase requirement, choose minimum purchase amount or minimum purchase quantity. If it doesn’t, choose none. You can select only one requirement.
6. To combine this Buy with Prime promotion with other Buy with Prime or Shopify product, order, or shipping promotions, turn Combinations on. Note: For an order discount, enabling minimum purchase requirements prevents the discount from combining with other discounts. Enabling Combinations disables minimum purchase requirements. It’s a best practice to test combinations because they can result in larger discounts than you intended.
7. Choose Create.

1. Open your Shopify admin.
2. On the Discounts tab, click an existing discount.
   Note: “Buy with Prime – “ is added to the beginning of the promotion name.

4. Click Save.

Note: You can’t activate, deactivate or delete a discount on the edit discount screen.

2. On the Discounts tab, select the discount(s) that you want to delete.
3. On the more actions (...) menu next to Deactivate discounts, click Delete discounts, and then Delete.
