Configure shipping options

Determine Amazon shipping speeds for your store

You’re prompted to configure your Amazon shipping speeds during setup. You can re-visit this step after onboarding is complete from the app home screen.

In this step, you choose your Amazon shipping speeds. Shipping speeds vary across geographies. You can set up shipping speeds for each region separately.

What you do on this page:

  • Choose the default shipping speed for each region/country
  • Map rates set up in your Shopify shipping profile to Amazon shipping speeds

Note: When you onboard a new country/region, you can configure your shipping options for that region. After you complete onboarding, you can re-visit the Shipping options page and edit any country/region.

To choose the default shipping speed for each region/country:

  1. Select the default shipping speed for the region. Each region may have different speed options.
  2. For any rate that you’ve set up using Shopify shipping profiles up for Amazon fulfillment locations, select the Amazon shipping speed that you’d like to associate. Go to Shopify shipping rates to learn more about how to set up custom rates in using Shopify settings.

Important: The default MCF shipping rate is free. If you wish to charge your shoppers for MCF shipping, you need to create a shipping rate for MCF and map it to the speed of your choosing.

To map rates set up in your Shopify shipping profile to Amazon shipping speeds:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings and then Shipping and Delivery.
  2. Under Shipping, select the shipping profile that you’d like to edit. If you have multiple shipping profiles, you need to complete the next steps below for each profile.
  3. Locate the Amazon Fulfillment location that you’d like to update. If you’re using MCF in multiple regions, such as US and UK, you see a separate location for each region.
