With a single app, you can integrate both Buy with Prime and MCF seamlessly into your existing Shopify site, and manage your catalog, orders, and returns for both services directly in Shopify admin. In addition to the Buy with Prime features already available to you through the existing app, the new app includes an integrated cart that lets shoppers add Prime eligible products and any others to your Shopify site’s existing cart, and then check out in one transaction. Additionally, you can use both solutions to cover your entire site’s fulfillment needs and save on fulfillment costs by consolidating shipments of multi-unit orders in the integrated cart. Amazon Pay helps to verify a shopper’s Prime status, and offers shoppers a fast, familiar way to checkout using shipping and payment information from their Amazon account. Adding Amazon Pay as a Wallet is a part of setting up Buy with Prime when you onboard using the MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify. Amazon Pay doesn’t process payments for Buy with Prime orders for merchants using the MCF and Buy with Prime App for Shopify, and Amazon Pay payment processing fees don’t apply. The MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify allows you to activate cart building to help boost sales. The integrated cart lets shoppers add Prime eligible products to your Shopify site’s existing cart and check out in one transaction.

The MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify doesn’t support Subscribe & Save. The Buy with Prime button should only appear on One-Time-Purchase options on your product details page. However, if the Buy with Prime button mistakenly appears on a Subscribe and Save option, go to Troubleshoot Subscribe and Save to fix it.

To submit your shopper’s privacy request, go to the Shopify admin console and follow the Shopify guidelines. The Buy with Prime team receives and processes these requests automatically.

Note: Privacy requests submitted via Shopify are only processed for your Buy with Prime business account related to your Shopify site. If you have other business accounts with Buy with Prime, then please submit the shopper’s privacy request through our merchant support and indicate the business account that the request is for.

To prevent your products from being displayed on Amazon.com, you can set the start selling date far into the future when you create the product listing in Seller Central. This avoids showing the product for sale on Amazon.com, but allows you to set up the product with Amazon’s fulfillment services for Buy with Prime orders. You can offer Buy with Prime for selected products by selecting each individually.

Buy with Prime is currently only available to merchants with a United States-based entity and for orders with shipping addresses in the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Wallets such as Amazon Pay, store a shopper’s shipping address, credit or debit card credentials, and securely passes this information to the payment processor when shoppers check out. This can speed the checkout process because it pre-fills shoppers’ information when checking out so that the shopper doesn’t need to enter the information manually.

Only shoppers who choose to check out with Buy with Prime and don’t have an active Amazon Prime membership see the Prime membership prompt.

After a shopper is signed in to their Amazon account during checkout, they’re offered the option to sign up for Prime or resume a paused Prime membership. After selecting a membership option and entering the required information, the shopper’s Prime membership is instantly activated, and they’re redirected to their Buy with Prime checkout.

If a shopper’s Prime membership was put on hold due to billing issues, they must update their payment method to resume their Prime membership benefits and check out using Buy with Prime. They’re prompted to update their payment method to resume a Prime membership after signing in to their Amazon account during Buy with Prime checkout. If a shopper doesn’t want to update their payment method, they can choose No thanks and are directed back to the product detail page. They can purchase the product through your site’s checkout instead.

If a shopper chooses not to sign up for or resume a Prime membership, they’re directed back to the product detail page and can choose to purchase the product through your site’s checkout.

You can deactivate the feature with the following steps:
1. Sign in to the merchant console, and then go to the Amazon services tab.
2. Locate the Prime membership prompt.
3. Choose Actions, and then choose the Deactivate Prime membership. Its status changes to Inactive.

The Prime membership prompt status appears in the merchant console. If the status shows as Inactive, you can reactivate it by choosing Actions, and then Activate Prime membership. The status changes to Active. If the status shows as Unavailable, you can’t activate the Prime membership prompt.

If the status of the Prime membership prompt is Unavailable, contact merchant support.

If your shoppers contact you with questions about Prime membership plans and benefits, or if they have trouble signing up for a Prime membership during checkout using Buy with Prime, have them contact Amazon customer service.

Yes, on the new Buy with Prime dashboard in Seller Central, you’ll have the option to link to the merchant console to access the same functions without requiring a separate user ID.

Yes, you can unlink your account at any time by contacting Merchant Support through the Get Support page in the merchant console for Buy with Prime.

Yes, any changes to your Amazon credentials including name, email, and password automatically update your Buy with Prime credentials. Note: The option to sign in with an email is being deprecated. When you sign in with an email, you’re prompted to update your Buy with Prime sign in to Amazon sign in. You must update your sign in method to Amazon sign in by 02/11/2025.

We don’t recommend you to sign up for Buy with Prime with a non-US Seller Central account. Buy with Prime is currently only available to merchants with a US-based entity and for orders with shipping addresses in the US. You cannot link Buy with Prime with your US-based inventory from a non-US Seller Central account.

Yes, after signing in with your email address, you see a screen prompting you to update to Amazon sign in. Choose Update to Amazon sign in, enter your Seller Central credentials, and then choose Sign in. You can now sign into Buy with Prime using your Seller Central sign in.

After signing up with your Seller Central account and linking it to Buy with Prime, your existing business information is copied to your Buy with Prime account. This includes legal business name, registered business address, business type, and business phone number. You can manually edit this information, but any changes you make need to be made in both your Seller Central and Buy with Prime accounts.

All users who use the Sign in with email option to sign in to the merchant console are required to update their sign in method. No action is required if you signed up for Buy with Prime using an Amazon account created after 4/30/2024.

If you don’t update your Buy with Prime sign in to Amazon sign in by 02/11/2025, you can’t sign in to Buy with Prime but your business account remains active. To regain access to your account, submit a request to Merchant Support. Account recovery might take up to two weeks.

If you are the Buy with Prime account owner, we recommend updating to the Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment credentials that you use to access your inventory. If you do not have Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account, but have an existing Amazon customer account for work, use that. Yes, MCF has added the option to block US orders from being shipped by Amazon Logistics, for a 5% fee surcharge. You can block Amazon Logistics for all MCF orders from your Amazon Seller account by going to your FBA settings, then scrolling down to Multi-Channel Fulfillment settings. Blocking Amazon Logistics increases the risk of your orders being unfulfilled or delivered late if there are no alternative carriers available.

No, the MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify only supports fulfillment of your Amazon inventory located in the US to US addresses. For outside of US: We also work with other app providers - such as WebBee and Bytestand - who are able to support your marketplaces outside of the US. The fulfillment fees report is only available in Seller Central for all MCF orders. A report can be extracted by signing in to Seller Central. Click Reports, then select Payments, and then select All statements. Enter a date range for your report and download the file. Next, open the file by using Excel. Column O shows the FBA/MCF fees charged for the order.

Yes, the MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify can support partial fulfillment of orders based on the product’s assigned inventory location. MCF can ship any products that are assigned to the Amazon Fulfillment location within the order.
