• To activate payments on your Shopify admin, complete these actions:

     

    Note: You can also deactivate Amazon Pay as a wallet or validate if Amazon Pay is set up as a wallet.

     

    Note: When you complete the configuration of Shopify Payments and set up Amazon Pay as a wallet, go back to the main menu for the Buy with Prime app for Shopify

  • Configure Shopify Payments to use Amazon Pay

    Payments are processed and managed in your Shopify admin where you can perform these actions:

    • View and pay your balance
    • Link your bank account and credit card
    • Manage disputes
    • View payments
    • Download reports

    Note: To configure Shopify Payments and Buy with Prime, you must Activate Amazon Pay.

    Step 1On the Shopify Admin, Payments section, go to the Shopify Payments page.

    Step 2On the side menu, choose Payments.

    Step 3Choose Activate Shopify Payments.

    Note: To review the requirements to set up Shopify Payments, go to Shopify Payments for the United States.

    Step 4Enter the following details:

    • Business type: Choose your business type from the dropdown menu.
    • Business details:
      • Employer Identification Number (EIN) (optional): Nine-digit number that identifies your business or account representative.
      • Address: Street, city, zip code, and state.
    • Personal details: Business owner of significant shareholder information.
      • Name: First and last name.
      • Date of birth: Month, day and year.
      • Social Security Number (SSN): Nine-digit number to verify your identify and keep your account secure.
    • Product details:
      • Business category: Select from the dropdown.
      • Business subcategory: Select from the dropdown.
      • Description of products or services.
    • Wallets: Choose Amazon Pay.

    Note: You need to activate Amazon Pay to continue your Buy with Prime set up.

  • Set up Amazon Pay as a Wallet

    To set up Amazon Pay as a Wallet, follow these steps:

    Step 1On the Shopify Admin, Payments section, go to the Shopify Payments page.

    Step 2To activate Amazon Pay as a Wallet you have two options:

    • If you see an alert under the Shopify Payments title that says: Activate Amazon Pay Wallet to continue Buy with Prime set up, choose Activate.
    • If you don't see an alert to activate Amazon Pay Wallet, go to Wallets and choose Activate next to Amazon Pay.

     

    Step 3You're prompted to sign into your Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account. If you don't have an account, go to Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account.

    Step 4Enter your site domains.

    Note: You can enter one or more site domains at any point.

    Step 5Enter your privacy policy URL.

    Step 6Choose Next.

    Step 7Choose Agree and continue to associate your Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account with Shopify.

    Step 8Connect your store page, choose Transfer API keys to automatically configure Amazon Pay in your Shopify store.

    Step 9On the Shopify Payments page, Wallets section, validate that Amazon Pay has a checkmark and is activated.

    Step 10Close the payments page to go back to Add Buy with Prime to your site on the merchant console.

  • Deactivate Amazon Pay as a Wallet

    To deactivate Amazon Pay as your Wallet, follow these steps:

    Step 1Go to your Shopify Admin.

    Step 2On the side menu, choose Payments.

    Step 3Go to Wallets.

    Step 4Deselect Amazon Pay.

    You can see Amazon Pay deactivated as a Wallet in Shopify Payments.

  • Validate if Amazon Pay is set up as a Wallet

    To validate if Amazon Pay is already set up as a Wallet, follow these steps:

    Step 1Go to your Shopify Admin.

    Step 2Choose Settings, and then Payments.

    Step 3Choose Wallets, and then verify if Amazon Pay has a checkmark next to it that indicates that it's active.

    If Amazon Pay isn't active, and you want to activate it, go to Set up Amazon Pay as a Wallet.
