Requirements for the Buy with Prime app for Shopify

Before you install the Buy with Prime app for Shopify, read through the FAQ for Buy with Prime app for Shopify, and then complete these requirements:
- Set up a Professional Seller Central account or an Amazon Supply Chain account: You need either account to start offering 1-2-day shipping and fulfill Buy with Prime orders using Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment.
- Sign up for an account for Buy with Prime: You can create an account, update user details, change your password, set up two-step verification, and as the Owner/Admin, and manage permissions for other user roles.
- Activate Amazon Pay: Use your Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account to activate Amazon Pay as a service.
Note: When you complete the requirements, go back to the main menu for the Buy with Prime app for Shopify.

1. Set up a Seller Central account or a Multi-Channel Fulfillment account
Signing up for Multi-Channel Fulfillment
Amazon's fulfillment services (which includes Multi-Channel Fulfillment) leverage the world’s largest fulfillment network, with more than 200 fulfillment centers globally, to provide a fast, low-cost, and reliable solution for fulfilling orders. You can ship your inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers, and Amazon handles the rest—product storage, delivery, order tracking, and returns. With Amazon's fulfillment services, you can fulfill both Amazon.com and Buy with Prime orders with one pool of inventory.
Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) allows you to offer your website shoppers the Prime delivery experience by fulfilling your Buy with Prime orders using MCF for 1-2 day shipping.

Selling on Amazon.com
If you would like to offer Buy with Prime on your website and also want to start selling on Amazon.com, you will need to register for a Seller Central account and register for Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) services.
If you’re an existing Amazon seller and have an active Seller Central account, sign up isn’t required. For more information about adding MCF to your Seller Central account, go to Seller Central.

Multi-Channel Fulfillment
If you aren’t an Amazon seller or a vendor and don’t have a Seller Central account, you can still use Amazon fulfillment services by setting up a Multi-Channel Fulfillment account.
To set up a Multi-Channel Fulfillment account:
Step 1Sign in to or create an Amazon.com account.
Step 2Enter your legal business name, primary contact information, and business address.
Step 3Choose Register.

Signing up for Fulfillment by Amazon
Fulfillment by Amazon allows you to outsource order fulfillment to Amazon for orders placed on Amazon.com, while Multi-Channel Fulfillment fulfills orders on any of your channels, including your own website. With Fulfilled by Amazon, you send products to Amazon fulfillment centers, and when a customer makes a purchase, Amazon picks, packs, and ships the order.
If you have an active Seller Central account:
Step 1Sign in to Seller Central.
Step 2On the side menu, choose Inventory, and then Dashboard.
Step 3Choose register for Fulfillment by Amazon.

If you don’t have an active Seller Central account:
Step 1Create an Amazon seller account. To create an account, go to How to start selling on Amazon.
Step 2After you create your Amazon seller account, sign in to Seller Central to register for Fulfillment by Amazon.

2. Sign up for an account for Buy with Prime
With sign up and user settings, you can sign up for a user account and within Settings, you can update user details, change password, set up two-step verification, and as the Owner/Admin you can manage permissions for other user roles.
How to sign up for Buy with Prime
Step 1Go to https://console.buywithprime.amazon.com/login/sign-up.
Step 2Enter your full name, email, and then password (twice).
Step 3Choose Sign Up.
Step 4You'll then receive an email with a code to verify your identity.
Step 5Enter the code on the verification page. If you haven't received the code or the code has expired, choose Resend code to get a new code.
Step 6You’ll then sign in again to access the merchant console.
After signing in, you can change your user profile settings in the merchant console.
To change profile settings:
Step 1Open the merchant console.
Step 2To update the following settings, choose Settings, and then Account details.
Step 3aTo edit your name, go to the User details tab, and then choose Edit.
Step 3bTo change your password, go to the Security tab, choose Change Password, and then a code will be sent to your email address to verify your identity. Enter the code in the verification window, choose Next, and then you can enter the current and new password (twice) to change password, and then choose Change password.
Step 3cTo activate Two-step verification, go to the Security tab, choose Set up two-step verification, download an authenticator app and choose Next. Then add Buy with Prime to the authenticator app by scanning the QR code or entering the information manually, and choose Next. Enter the one-time, six-digit code generated in the authenticator app, choose Verify, and two-step verification will be activated.
To enter business details:
Step 1Open the merchant console.
Step 2Choose Settings, and then Enter business details.
Step 3Select the business type from the dropdown menu.
Step 4Enter the legal business name.
Step 5Enter the registered business address and choose Next.
Follow the prompts to set up Buy with Prime and generate the Buy with Prime button code.

3. Activate Amazon Pay
Although payments are managed and processed in Shopify, activating Amazon Pay on your Seller Central account allows shoppers to quickly check out using the payment and shipping information in their Amazon account.
Use your Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account to activate Amazon Pay as a service. Follow these steps:
Step 1Using the Buy with Prime app for Shopify, choose Add Buy with Prime to your site card, then under Activate payments choose Activate.
Step 2On the Shopify Payments section, go to Wallets, choose Amazon Pay and then Activate.
Step 3Sign in to your Seller Central account to access your Amazon Pay account.
Step 4Enter your business information:
- Tax information
- Payment information
- Point of contact
- Website URL
- Store privacy policy
Step 5Choose Next.
Step 6On the Associate Your Amazon Seller Accounts with Shopify screen, review the terms and choose Agree and Continue. On the Connect Your Store screen, choose Transfer API Keys.
Once the API keys have been transferred successfully, Amazon Pay is set up as a wallet in Shopify Payments.
Step 7Close the payment screen to continue with the rest of the Buy with Prime app for Shopify onboarding.
