Buy with Prime orders are fulfilled using Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF). With MCF, you ship your inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers where it is stored. Then, whenever a Buy with Prime order is placed, Amazon picks, packs, and ships your products to your customer’s doorsteps, providing real-time tracking and Prime delivery speeds. By using MCF with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), you can use the same pool of inventory to fulfill your orders from Buy with Prime (with MCF), Amazon.com (with FBA), and other sales channels (with MCF).

If you already have inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers, you simply need to authorize Amazon to use that inventory to fulfill Buy with Prime orders and give Prime members the same fast, free delivery experience that they have for their Amazon.com orders. You also need to link your Amazon Pay account to give millions of Prime members a seamless checkout experience by using the shipping and payment information stored in their Amazon account. Merchants not yet using Amazon Pay on their ecommerce site will be directed to register for Amazon Pay when they set up Buy with Prime.

Buy with Prime’s cost per unit depends on multiple factors, including product dimensions and weight, average selling price, and number of units per Buy with Prime order. The cost includes fulfillment, storage, payment processing, and service fees that are calculated per unit. The cost of returns is included in the fulfillment fee.
