Note: If you don’t have a Shopify site, go to Requirements for the Buy with Prime widget. For Shopify ecommerce sites, continue with this article.
To start using Buy with Prime, ensure that you have:
- A US-based entity: Buy with Prime is currently only available to businesses with a United States-based entity authorized to do business.
- An ecommerce site: Buy with Prime can be used with your own ecommerce website. It’s designed to work with most ecommerce providers.
- A Professional Seller Central account to import your existing Amazon product catalog information to your Buy with Prime catalog.
- Activated Amazon Pay: Use your Seller Central or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account to activate Amazon Pay as a service.
During registration, you can also add:
- Amazon’s fulfillment services, which includes Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), to offer a fast, free delivery experience for Buy with Prime orders.
- A Fulfillment by Amazon account (FBA) account to allow Amazon to pick, pack, and ship your orders.
When you complete the requirements, go to Sign up for Buy with Prime.
Activate Amazon Pay
Although payments are managed and processed in Shopify, activating Amazon Pay on your Seller Central account allows shoppers to quickly check out using the payment and shipping information in their Amazon account. To activate Amazon Pay, follow these steps:
- On Buy with Prime app for Shopify, choose Add Buy with Prime to your site card, then under Set up payments, choose Set up.
- On the Shopify Payments section, choose Wallets, select Amazon Pay, and then choose Save.
- Sign in to your Seller Central account to access your Amazon Pay account.
- Enter your business information:
- Tax information
- Payment information
- Point of contact
- Website URL
- Store privacy policy
- Choose Next.
- On the Associate Your Amazon Seller Accounts with Shopify page, review the terms and choose Agree and Continue.
- On the Connect Your Store page, choose Transfer API Keys.
After the API keys have been transferred successfully, Amazon Pay is set up as a wallet in Shopify Payments. - Close the payment page to continue with the rest of the Buy with Prime app for Shopify setup.
