Install

Install the Buy with Prime app in Shopify admin. Follow the steps in the app to set up Buy with Prime.

Set up

Add Amazon Pay in the Wallets section of Shopify Payments.

Connect

Sign in or sign up for Buy with Prime, and connect your Amazon Seller Central account or Multi-Channel Fulfillment account.

Map

Add the Amazon SKUs for your Buy with Prime products to your Shopify catalog.

Activate

Select which products will offer Buy with Prime, and then check your product detail pages to see the Buy with Prime button.

  • In addition to all general Buy with Prime requirements, the app only supports US-based Shopify merchants who use Shopify Payments.   • Adding Amazon Pay as a Wallet in Shopify Payments is a requirement to use the Buy with Prime app for Shopify. Amazon Pay helps to verify a shopper's Prime status, and offers shoppers a fast, familiar way to checkout using shipping and payment information from their Amazon account. To learn more about adding Amazon Pay as a Wallet go to Set up Amazon Pay as a Wallet in Shopify Payments.

  • Amazon Pay doesn't process payments for Buy with Prime orders for merchants using the Buy with Prime App for Shopify, and Amazon Pay payment processing fees don't apply. Payment services fees by Shopify may apply. You can check your processing fees in your Shopify admin under Settings/Payment.

  • Shopify Payments is a requirement to use the Buy with Prime app for Shopify. Go to Setting up Shopify Payments.

  • When you deactivate Amazon Pay as a Wallet you also deactivate apps supported by Amazon Pay, including Buy with Prime. Buy with Prime is also automatically deactivated. For help, contact Merchant Support.

  • Your orders are synced automatically when you install the Buy with Prime app for Shopify. To view orders, go to the following links:

  • No, you’re not required to switch to the app. However, using the app provides a more efficient way to manage your ecommerce business across Buy with Prime and your Shopify store. Because the app integrates into Shopify admin, adding and managing Buy with Prime products within your catalog is simple and uses existing Shopify product information, including variations. The app also automatically syncs promotions and tax settings between Shopify and Buy with Prime.

  • Yes, the app is built to integrate with Shopify, including Shopify Payments to process payments for Buy with Prime orders. However, you still need to use your Amazon Pay account, so that Amazon can verify a shopper’s Prime member status and shoppers can use the shipping and payment information stored in their Amazon account.

  • Yes, Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) is a stand-alone fulfillment service that empowers ecommerce merchants to use Amazon fulfillment services for multiple channels, such as brand websites, ecommerce marketplaces, and social media stores. MCF also offers different delivery speeds, allowing merchants to choose the one that’s right for their business. Buy with Prime empowers merchants to grow their ecommerce businesses by offering Prime shopping benefits on their online stores, including fast, free delivery, a seamless checkout, and easy returns. You can add Buy with Prime to eligible products on your Shopify store using the Buy with Prime app for Shopify. You can use MCF to fulfill all other orders on your Shopify store, as well as orders from other ecommerce channels.

  • You can contact your Buy with Prime sales rep or the merchant support team for any issues related to using the Buy with Prime app on your Shopify store.

  • The app offers shoppers a buy-now, single-product checkout experience (or multiple units of a single product). Cart building (or multi-product checkout) isn’t supported.
