Buy with Prime no longer support the Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce. The Buy with Prime widget, including new features like Reviews from Amazon and Buy with Prime cart, provides the best experience for shoppers on your BigCommerce site. We’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible so that there is minimal impact to your site and shoppers.
Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce
Buy with Prime no longer supports the Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce, and the app is no longer available in the BigCommerce marketplace. To offer Buy with Prime on your BigCommerce site, you need to migrate your account to the Buy with Prime widget, using the following workflow:
- Uninstall the Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce
- Set up Buy with Prime for your site
- Add Buy with Prime to your site
- Connect to Alloy apps
Uninstall the Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce
Use the following steps to uninstall the Buy with Prime app for BigCommerce:
Step 1Sign in to your BigCommerce store.
Step 2From the side menu, choose Apps, and then My Apps.
Step 3Select the Buy with Prime app, and then choose Uninstall.
Set up Buy with Prime for your site
Use the following steps to set up Buy with Prime for your BigCommerce site:
Step 1Sign in to Buy with Prime.
Step 2From the drop-down menu in the top right corner, select See account overview.
Step 3On the Account overview page, under Grow your sales channels, choose Add sales channel.
Step 4On the Add Buy with Prime to your store page, select Buy with Prime widgets.
Step 5Choose Continue.
Step 6Follow the steps in Set up Buy with Prime for your site.
Note: You can set up Buy with Prime for a new sales channel under an existing business, which uses the existing business settings (business type, legal business name, registered business address, and business phone number), and existing team management and permissions for the new sales channel. Users added to a business have access to all sales channels that are part of your business. Alternatively, you can set up a sales channel under a new business, which allows you to set up new business details and define team management and permissions to access the new sales channel. Step 7Follow the onboarding prompts and go to Step 3: Turn on Buy with Prime for your products, and then follow the steps in Turn on Buy with Prime for your products.
Step 8Follow the onboarding prompts and go to Step 4: Create and install button code, and then follow the steps in Create the Buy with Prime button code. For BigCommerce, you must choose Other as your ESP.
Connect to Alloy apps
There are two Alloy apps to help you sync your order and catalog data. Alloy is a Buy with Prime technology partner that offers several apps, such as the Catalog updates app and the Order connector app exclusively for Buy with Prime merchants.
The Catalog updates app allows you to update product details like URL, title, description, price, and images from your ecommerce catalog to your Buy with Prime catalog.
The Order connector app allows you to sync your Buy with Prime order and customer information with your ecommerce site.
