To install the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify, use the following steps:
- Go to the Shopify App Store and then search for the Multichannel Fulfillment app.
- Choose Install.
On the Multichannel Fulfillment app install page choose install app.
Installing the Multichannel Fulfillment app is free, but certain services might incur a cost after activation. To learn more about Buy with Prime services prices, go to Pricing. To learn more about MCF services prices, go to Multichannel Fulfillment pricing. Note: These charges only apply when an order is placed and shipped through Amazon.
Buy with Prime is available to merchants with a US-based entity authorized to do business. Ensure that you have a US-based Amazon seller account (Seller Central or Supply Chain Portal) to connect. When you use Buy with Prime, MCF is also automatically available.
MCF with Prime is only available in the US for shipments to US addresses. Ensure that you have a US-based Amazon seller account through either Seller Central or Supply Chain Portal to connect.
MCF is available through the Multichannel Fulfillment app in the following countries: US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Canada, and Australia.
- On the Multichannel Fulfillment app screen, select the country that you want to activate.
- Choose Connect account.
- Enter your Amazon seller account for Your Amazon account email and account Password.
Notes:
- By connecting your Amazon account, you agree to Amazon’s conditions of Use and Privacy Notice as applicable for the country you select.
- Use the correct credentials for the Amazon seller account that you use for the country you selected.
Activate Amazon services in the app
The Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify integrates both Buy with Prime and Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF) seamlessly into your existing Shopify site. You can use the app to access MCF and Buy with Prime in the US, and MCF in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Canada, and Australia. You can use the app in multiple countries simultaneously (subject to availability).
MCF with Prime: You can also offer Prime delivery when you access MCF through the app. MCF with Prime is currently available only in the US. For setup details, see Set up MCF using the Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify.
Move between Buy with Prime and MCF with Prime
You can switch between Buy with Prime and MCF with Prime, or the other way around, by repeating the onboarding process for the United States. Use the following steps:
- On your Shopify admin, choose Add, edit, or remove countries.
- Disconnect the US country. On the Add, edit, or remove countries screen, select the action menu (three vertical dots) for United States, and then choose Disconnect Country.
- Click Connect for the US to begin the onboarding flow.
- Follow the onboarding workflow for Buy with Prime or MCF for MCF with Prime.
United States and other countries
When you activate the app in the US, you can choose to use both MCF and Buy with Prime or just MCF.
- MCF and Buy with Prime: If you choose Buy with Prime, you also set up MCF. This option provides all of the MCF benefits, plus the additional benefits of Buy with Prime.
- MCF: You can choose to set up only MCF. This path include MCF with Prime.
