• Learn more about inventory visibility

Monitor your Buy with Prime product inventory in one place with stock now displayed—down to the variation level—in your product catalog. You no longer have to cross-reference Seller Central and merchant console to see quantities of Buy with Prime products. The inventory visibility feature updates your Buy with Prime catalog automatically. You’re notified if there’s an issue updating your inventory or when your Buy with Prime products are out of stock.

Shoppers and customers can also see real-time inventory levels of their favorite products before checking out using Buy with Prime. When a shopper clicks the Buy with Prime button on eligible pages to checkout, they can select the quantity on the order preview page. Then if the desired quantity is more or less than what is available, the quantity will change to the amount available, and they can proceed to checkout.

  • Inventory visibility FAQ

Get answers to common questions about the inventory visibility feature in Buy with Prime.

    • Stock refers to the quantity of units in Amazon’s fulfillment centers, units in transit, and units being transferred between warehouses that are available to ship to customers. Quantities are automatically updated regularly in the merchant console to reflect those in Seller Central.

    • Products that are out of stock are indicated with an alert icon and out-of-stock status in the Stock column on the Products page in the merchant console. You also receive a notification at the email address you saved in merchant console when any of your Buy with Prime products run out of stock.

    • Stock is updated automatically to reflect the actual number available in Amazon fulfilment centers. You can’t update stock manually.

    • You can use the Send to Amazon shipment creation workflow in Seller Central to send your products to Amazon fulfillment centers. Learn more about shipping products to Amazon in the related help article.
